From atop the steps of Sheridan City Hall Monday, Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey proclaimed March as Disability Awareness Month. Soon after, clients with RENEW took the opportunity to ring the bell that sits in front of City Hall. Chief Operating Officer for RENEW, Kimberly Lanners says that March is about highlighting the ability, not the disability.

Lanners added that throughout March, RENEW will be hosting various events in recognition of Disability Awareness Month. We'll have more on those events as they draw near.
