Some have called it the Mardi Gras of Sheridan. Were of course talking about the street dance that takes place in downtown Sheridan following the Rodeo performances Friday and Saturday nights. Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens says that a lot of planning goes into making it a safe event for all involved.
Adriaens said that the command trailer will be set up to offer hydration to those that need it.
And as we've previously reported, the State Liquor Commission has provided four ID scanners for use at the street dances to try and help curb underage drinking.
