The Potter's Depot will host a Holiday Open House and Sale Saturday, December 4th to showcase local artists and their work. Aaron Palmer has the story.
Owner Bonnie Schlesselman said the purpose of the open house is to give local artists a venue to share and sell some of their work. It will also give her pottery students the opportunity to show their work as well.
Schlesselman, who moved to Buffalo a few years ago with her husband, opened the Potter's Depot in April of 2007 in the old Buffalo Train Depot, after a major renovation to the building. She said she fell in love with Buffalo and believes there are a lot of talented and artistic people in the community, which was a big draw to both her and her husband.
In addition to the Open house, the Potter's Depot offers pottery classes for the beginner through the experienced and for all ages..
The Open House will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 4th at the Potter's Depot at 75 East Benteen in Buffalo, but use the entrance on Lobban Street. For more information on the open house or for pottery classes, call 684-4555.
