A calling-card to the Sheridan WYO Rodeo each year the Indian Relay Races have excitement, but also some controversy as well.

Aside from the at times politically incorrect commentating, a certain amount of physicality comes with the event. The races are made up of four-team heats with three-man teams, and the relay exchanges can become violent when riders fall and horses collide right in front of the grandstands.

Some might see the exchanges as part of the sport like fights in hockey, or even more incidental like hits in football.

This week's Bank of Sheridan/sheridanmedia.com Poll Question is: Are the wrecks what people like most about the Indian Relay Races?

Let us know what you think, go online and feel free to post appropriate comments. Then, be sure to tune into our Jackson Electric Open Line at 9 am this Friday on 930 KROE.
