On Monday, May 23rd, staff and parents of the Hand in Hand Early Childhood Center learned that the center will be closing this Friday, June 3rd. They were told abruptly by shocked staff members, without any members of the center's administrative board present.
On Thursday, May 26th, parents of the newly formed Little Big Horn Childcare Co-Op met with staff and members of the community to work toward a solution of how to meet the childcare and education needs of the 140 children affected by this decision.
