CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Investigators believe a Casper man shot and killed his wife as she fled to a neighbor's house for help.
Preliminary autopsy results show that 34-year-old Natalie Miller died of gunshot wounds to her chest early Wednesday.
The Casper Star-Tribune (http://bit.ly/YN8es8) reported Friday that Miller called 911 shortly before to report that her husband, Thomas, was going to kill her. Police say she ran to her next-door neighbor's house.
Thomas Miller has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and two counts of child endangerment. The couple's two children, ages 6 and 2, were home at the time of the shooting.
Thomas Miller is being held without bond. It's not clear whether he has a lawyer yet.
