The release states that further investigation indicated that the driver, 60 year-old Jerome Hunter, left his residence and was proceeding northbound on Coffeen Avenue. At some point, Hunter lost consciousness while driving. When he awoke, there was smoke in the vehicle and the crash had already occurred.
