The Sheridan Police Department is investigating a number of cases of vandalism that have occurred in Sheridan during the last couple of months. Sheridan Police Sgt. Travis Koltiska says that the various forms of graffiti continue to show up around town.

Koltiska added that the graffiti has been similar in nature with writings involving the word “love”, as well as spray painting the face of what appears to be a crying woman. He added that Kendrick Park has been the latest area to have been vandalized.

Prior to the incident in Kendrick Park this week, the vandalism has occurred at several businesses on or near Broadway Street in the downtown area, and the aforementioned overpass on North Sheridan Avenue.
