Over 240 Freshman from Sheridan High School gave their pledge to graduate during a ceremony Monday in the school auditorium. School District Two Superintendent Craig Dougherty explained to the students the importance of receiving their diploma.
SHS Assistant Principal Jeff Mowery says that District Two schools do a good job of preparing students for the challenges of high school.
This is the 4th year that Sheridan High School has done the pledge to graduate ceremony. The 249 Freshman enrolled at SHS will be the class of 2016.
