The Town of Ranchester is celebrating its 100th birthday this year and the planning process is underway for a centennial celebration this summer. A tentative date has been set for Saturday August, 27th. Ranchester Councilwoman Samantha Nixon has been busy lining up entertainment and such for the big event, but she says that they are looking for any thoughts or ideas from the Town's residents.
