Planning Commission Votes Again to Approve Holly Ponds Development No. 9

The Planning Commission voted unanimously Monday night to approve the Holly Ponds Planned Unit Development Number 9. The commission echoed their previous decision after some concerns were raised about the way the September 24 motion to recommend the development was made and the composition of the quorum.

Planning and Development Director Robert Briggs had this to say.

Although the members of the commission were confident in their vote on September 24, Briggs said they wanted to make it absolutely sure.

The Holly Ponds Planned Unit Development Number 9 will be a subdivision that replicates the Mission Ridge Community in Billings. Representing the developer was Ron Patterson, who explained a bit about the project's final phase.

Briggs announced at the end of Monday's meeting that a work session on general procedure is being offered, both in light of the concerns surrounding the commission's previous vote on this issue and because a few new faces at City Hall have yet to be trained.
