The Sheridan Planning Commission Monday unanimously recommended the approval of phase two of development for the Poplar Grove Planned Unit Development. The development is located in northeast Sheridan, just northwest of Skeels Street and Aspen Trail - and spans 32 acres in its entirety.
Planning and Development Director for the City, Robert Briggs, says most of the engineering work for this project was reviewed and approved in 2007. He gives a brief history of the development.
The commission ultimately recommended the Sheridan City Council approve the request to subdivide a single 12 acre tract into 13 separate lots and two open space outlots. The request now heads to the city council for its consideration at an upcoming meeting.
