The City of Sheridan Planning Commission unanimously approved a new three story Fairfield Inn Hotel that will be located on two acres of land just south of Shipton's Big “R” on Sugarland Drive. City Senior Planner Jeff Laurien says that the application was submitted a little over three months ago.
Construction on the 85-room hotel is expected to begin this Spring. The Planning Commission also welcomed new member Shelleen Smith and recognized outgoing Commissioner Monty Webb with a plaque for his six years of service on the Commission.

Sheridan has supposed
Sheridan has supposed "business" hotels located way out in timbuktu.
It would be nice to actually have a brand name hotel located in an area with things like restaurants and shopping nearby. It seems like this hotel will be located in a perfect spot! I am all for it. Marriott has the best hotels around.
By the way Sheridan has way too many of the old-fashioned fleabag motels.
What a value.Sheridan
What a value.Sheridan doesn't have hardly any Hotels.
