Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has the story about what development the Sheridan City Planning Commission will be tackling at their next meeting.
At what would have been Monday night's planning commission meeting, there were not enough planning commissioners actually present to constitute a quorum. Though one more member would have made quorum, there were a total of four planning commissioners absent. Planning and Development Director for the City of Sheridan, Robert Briggs.
And because it was on the agenda for Monday's meeting, a rezone request from First Federal Savings Bank will be heard on July 8 at the next planning commission meeting. Briggs explains.
The planning commissioners are expected to give initial consideration to the item, as well as open the floor for a public hearing, and hear the staff report and applicant presentation.
If approved the request would rezone three lots - close to 10,500 square feet - from an R-2 residential district to a B-1 business district at 705 and 717 Illinois St.
The meeting will be held on the third floor of City Hall in council chambers on Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m.
