The City of Sheridan Planning Commission recommended approval to the Sheridan City Council the final plat and revised conceptual plan of the WYSTAR Recovery Campus Planned Unit Development II. The re-platting of the original PUD creates 10 tracts and two out-lots on 38 acres of property owned by VOA in south Sheridan. Planning Director Robert Briggs says that a lot has changed since the WYSTAR PUD was approved in 2005.
A couple of adjacent property owners expressed concerns about losing secondary access to their property. Engineer Megan Crow, who was on hand representing VOA, stated that she'd set up a meeting with officials from VOA and the adjacent homeowners to try and resolve their concerns.
