Natrona County Woman Pleads No Contest to Poisoning Stepmom

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A 19-year-old Wyoming woman accused of poisoning her stepmother with eye drops has pleaded no contest to an aggravated assault charge.

Alexis Jennings of Natrona County entered the plea Thursday in state district court.

Former Governor Named as SC Graduation Speaker

Sheridan College has announced that former Wyoming Governor, Jim Geringer will be this year's graduation speaker during the May 11 commencement exercise. Geringer served as the 30th Governor of Wyoming from 1995-2003, following 12 years in the State Legislature.

The Wyoming Supreme Court this week ruled in favor of Sheridan Firefighters Local Number 276 in regard to their lawsuit against the City of Sheridan for breach of their collective bargaining agreement.

Buffalo Police Respond To Dispute Involving Firearm

**Update, 12:30pm:

Chief Jason Carder, in a press release, said at approximately 1:23am officers responded to a report of shots fired at 260 S. Cummings in Buffalo.
Jacob Sundquist, 32, was arrested on Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault charges.
The case is still under investigation.
