UW Awarded $1.5 Million for Maternal Obesity Research

The National Institutes of Health has awarded a 1.5 million dollar grant to the University of Wyoming to study ways to reduce maternal obesity. UW Animal Science Professor Stephen Ford directs the university’s Center for the Study of Fetal Programming.

Flooding Shuts Down WYDOT Computers

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Flooding from heavy rain has caused a computer outage that prevented Wyoming Transportation Department driver license examination stations around the state from issuing licenses and ID cards. WYDOT officials say the outage could prevent the issuing of licenses into Monday.
