For nearly a decade the “Pink Flamingo” has been a very popular and successful fundraiser for Family Planning of the Big Horns. This week, the gangly bird will take its final flight as this year's fundraiser will be the last. One of the organizers for the event Amy Albrecht explains why the decision to curb the bird.
Albrecht tells us about one of the more popular events that take place at the Pink Flamingo.
Albrecht emphasized that people should know that the Final Flight of the Pink Flamingo has a new date and location, as th event will be this Friday night at 7 o'clock at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Cottonwood Shop.
