 Pickup Likely Started Wyoming Wildfire

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The U.S. Forest Service believes a pickup started a wildfire in Medicine Bow National Forest near the Colorado line. Fire Management Officer Vern Bentley says the Illinois Creek Fire was started by someone parking a diesel-powered pickup over dry grass. Bentley says the driver might have been unaware that the grass caught fire. The fire has burned 112 acres of mostly dead lodgepole pine. There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
