Representative John Patton attended a meeting between the Education Committee the House Labor, Health and Social Services Committee.
In an interview with Public Pulse host, Kim Love, Patton points out many different governmental agencies are involved in early childhood education, and expressed reservations about the extent of the state's involvement.
Patton seemed concerned about the state's encroachment into private family life.
