Sheridan County State Legislator John Patton announced this morning he will run for re-election in the fall.
Patton started his political career in 1961 and has served in both the state House and Senate. He is currently running to maintain his House seat for District 29. Patton said there are at least two main areas he wants to work on during his next term.
Patton currently serves on seven committees, including the House Rules and Procedures Committee and the Select Committee on Legislative Technology and Process.
