The Hazel Patterson Memorial Trust is now accepting applications for funding from Johnson County nonprofit organizations.
The Trust was began in 1989 and has granted more than $1 million to numerous Johnson County organizations to help improve the quality of life for county residents.
Hazel Patterson (1902-1989), was a Johnson County rancher who wanted her estate to help the people in the county and established the Hazel Patterson Memorial Trust through her will. The fund's trustees converted the trust to a donor advised fund and it is noe the Hazel Patterson Memorial Donor Advised Endowment Fund, administered through the Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF).
WYCF will open a newly-updated online application for ther fund on May 15th, and they invite all Johnson County nonprofits to apply for funding.

The deadline for applications is July 1, and notifications of award or decline will be mailed to all applicants by September 15.
