BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A Montana man charged with kidnapping and assaulting an 11-year-old girl won't fight extradition to Wyoming to face the charges. Jesse Paul Speer waived his right to an extradition hearing in a brief court appearance Monday in Bozeman.

Sheridan fisherman don't have to go far to sink their hooks into dinner, and next year is gearing up to be no exception. The Game and Fish Department recently reported they stocked the ponds at the Kleenburn Recreation Area, near Acme, with approximately 2,000 catfish.
The Johnson County Commissioners awarded a contract for maintenance of the heating and air conditioning systems at both the new jail and court complex to Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning of Buffalo.
The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo has traditionally closed during the Winter months because of lower numbers of visitors and to give employees a chance to complete needed maintenance, change exhibits and perform other tasks.
