The Sheridan City Council held a unique work session Wednesday that consisted of Sam Western giving a presentation on the local economic history and how it connects with the State's economic history, and what falling natural gas prices mean for Sheridan and the State.
With the completion of Johnson County's new Judicial Center complex this summer, Wyoming's Fourth Judicial District, which encompasses both Sheridan and Johnson Counties will be receiving a second District Judge to be seated in Buffalo.
The Buffalo City Council, at Tuesday's meeting, decided to fund a portion of the moving expenses for the new city/county engineer, and will eventually ask the county to help with those expenses as well.

Sheridan County Awards Bid For Final Leg of Historic Courthouse Upgrade Project
The Sheridan County Commissioners Tuesday awarded the bid for the final phase of upgrades to the Historic Courthouse to O'Dell Construction in the amount of $197,000. Sheridan County Administrative Director Renee' Obermueller.
