Sheridan County High School Rodeo Team Hosts 2016 NFR Party

The Sheridan County High School rodeo team is currently comprised of students from Sheridan High School and Big Horn High School. These students work year-round to earn enough money for their two-day rodeo every Memorial Day weekend at the Sheridan county fairground.

Court Records Action Under Fire

Action by Sheridan County commissioners to approve a contract to digitize district court records has come under fire from a Sheridan man who maintains the project never went through a bid process, and no local vendors were contacted with regard to the project.

Kinskey Considers New Legislation

State Sen. Dave Kinskey of Sheridan said he plans to introduce a bill in the Legislature next year that will broaden the list of goods and services that must be advertised before they can be purchased.

One Fatality in Crash South of Kaycee

A one vehicle crash Sunday, has resulted in the death of 14 Year old Kaycee resident Kaylene Enloe. The crash occurred at 6:32pm near mile post 101 on Wyoming State Highway 190 approximately two miles southwest of Kaycee.
