Over $35,000 Raised for the Sheridan County Museum Education Project

The Sheridan County Historical Society has received a matching funds grant from the Homer and Mildred Scott Foundation in the amount of $17,778. Contributions from various donors to match the Scott Foundation grant will pay for the Sheridan County Museum's Education Program through 2010.

Curator of Museum Education Nathan Doerr says that the program offers a lot of opportunities for kids.

Doerr points out the importance of the generous contributions that they've received.

Doerr said that they've had such a good response with the Tidbit Tuesday program that they will be expanding it to every Tuesday this summer instead of every other week.
