The Powder River Basin Resource Council is sponsoring a showing of the Oscar-nominated documentary "Gasland" to be shown tomorrow evening, April 20th, at the C-Tel Presentation Hall at Sheridan College.

Spokesman Kevin Lind says that the film, which was shot in parts of Wyoming, offers an alternative view to the impact of the oil and gas industry on Wyoming's citizens.

Lind says there is an EPA study in the Pavilion area that has been going on for the last two years.

Lind says several people in that area have been warned not to drink their water and to have good ventilation because of gas build-up in their showers and sinks.

The showing of "Gasland" is free and open to everyone, not just PRBRC members.
