City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades gave his report to the council at their last meeting, saying the O'Reilly Auto Parts building currently under construction on East Hart Street is nearing completion.
His office also issued just over $5,300 in permits during the month of October.
Rhoades told the council he would be attending the State of Wyoming Building Official's annual meetings November 6, 7, and 8 in Casper.
Rhoades also told the council what he had found as to why the “stainless steel” fixtures at Crazy Woman Square were rusting.
Councilman Russ Humphrey asked if the city could install signs at Crazy Woman Square for people to keep their dogs off the grass in the square, because people have not been picking up after their pets.
Mayor Randy Dyess, agreeing with Humphrey there is a problem, suggested the council re-address the issue when they discuss the animal ordinances in future meetings.
