As part of Open Line Friday on KROE's Public Pulse, host Kim Love takes calls from residents in response to the weekly poll question. This week's topic was about the upcoming $15.85 million Sheridan College bond issue coming before Sheridan County voters on August 20.
Officials with the college say the initiative would support the expansion and renovation of the technical education center on campus, and allow for more students in related programs. The initiative would be funded through a property tax if it is voted into law. According to college president Paul Young, the estimated monthly impact for Sheridan County property owners would be just over $2 per $100,000 of a home's market value.
Here are the opinions from some of the callers during Open Line Friday.
