Dubbed the shortest parade on St. Patrick's Day, the folks in Big Horn know how to do it up right.
It was the 6th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, beginning at The Merc and traveling one whole block down to the Last Chance Bar. One float, a big green tractor, a couple of dogs and an odd assortment of green-clad characters filled the parade route.
Doug Sheehan was dressed in his kilt and led the parade out, playing his bagpipes. He says it's all about Big Horn.
Local Tracy Swanson was there.
Georgina Ringley got a really sweet deal for taking on the role of parade marshal.
The first Big Horn St. Paddy's Day Parade took place over 20 years ago and faded away. Now, with its six year history, it's a spectacle that brings in visitors from around the region.
