One Year Later, the Decision to Privatize EMS

Last summer the City of Sheridan made the decision to privatize EMS in the City and contract with Rocky Mountain Ambulance Services. During a media conference this week, Sheridan Media's Ron Richter asked this question of Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.

The Mayor followed up by saying that the era of tough decisions isn't over, as significant funding cuts by the State Legislature mean that the City has about two years to come up with roughly $500,000 a year out of a $9.5 million budget.
