The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has announced there's only one week left for Wyoming resident big game hunters to apply online for limited quota elk, deer and antelope licenses. Though the deadline to submit paper applications has passed, online applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

The department says that deadline is not flexible, as their electronic licensing service will simply not accept applications after 5 p.m. on the 31st.

Overall, Game and Fish has received more than 90 percent of applications online so far. The department says it is more convenient for hunters, reduces errors and allows for faster and easier processing.

Be sure to note that some areas have changed from previous years, so hunters are advised to check seasons, license types and quotas before applying. To get your resident license, visit http://wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/wgfd.... And if you need assistance during the online application process, call 777-4600.
