One More Budget Approval Is In The Books

The Sheridan Recreation District Board of Trustees approved a budget of just over $1.6 million Thursday night. Recreation Director Richard Wright says the budget reflects carry over funds that were intended as seed money for a new recreation building.

The board spent over an hour in executive session discussing employee raises. Wright explains the decision that was made.

Wright said that the maximum amount the raises would cost the district would be 8,000 dollars. That is only if each full time hourly employee receives a 3% raise.
