The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services has awarded a pre-hire economic development grant in the amount of $52,000 to the Northern Wyoming Community College District, through a partnership with Green House for Living in Sheridan. Sheridan College Director of Workforce Training and Development Karen St. Clair says that the funding will provide training for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants.
St. Clair explains the criteria for those interested in applying for the training.
Green House for Living in Sheridan plans to hire up to 50 staff for the four homes that will open at the Village at Cloud Peak Ranch in Sheridan later this year and early next year. St. Clair said that there are limited slots available and that applicants need to apply by August 19th and that the training will most likely take place at the Sheridan College Broadway location. Information on how to apply for the training can be found here.
