The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees at their meeting Wednesday night approved the transfer of ownership of the Sheridan Commercial Park from the City of Sheridan to SEEDA. The College District, the City and Sheridan County School District Two make up the SEEDA Joint Powers Board, which is why it's necessary for all three entities to approve the property transfer.
Trustees held a budget work session prior to the regular board meeting to discuss the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young.
Young reminds motorists that the College is currently under construction as work continues on the Edward A. Whitney Academic Center.
Construction on the academic center remains on schedule and is planned to be complete and open for the 2013 fall semester.
