At the last Johnson County Commissioner's meeting, Planner Rob Yingling discussed a number of issues with county subdivisions with the commission and received guidance on what to with them.
Yingling explained a boundary adjustment between the Smith Trust and Twin Creeks Campground Properties.
The commission voted to accept the changes as proposed.
Yingling is assisting several property owners in the area of the NW Water Supply project with information to help them contact and gauge possible interest in the project.
Draft Zoning Regulations have been completed, Yingling said, and final preliminary copies are done and awaiting public meetings for review, which are to be conducted in September.
A road issue in Little Piney Estates has been an ongoing problem for decades and the commission does not want to get involved in a situation they cannot legally resolve. Being a civil matter, they chose to not get involved in the dispute.
