Notes From August 21 Buffalo City Council Meeting

The Buffalo City Council voted to approve on third and final reading Ordinance No. 1358, to vacate a portion of an alleyway to adjacent landowners. City Attorney ben Kirven will have a Quitclaim Deed for the mayor to sign at the next council meeting.

City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades reported there were no new construction permits issued from August 7th to the 21st, but a number of permits were issued for roofs, fences and watering.

Police Lt. Andy Tkach, filling in for Chief Jason Carder, reported that one of the department's new hires, Robert Bryce Johnson, has entered the Police Academy in Douglas for trainiing.

Tkach also had some information on a Memorandum Of Understanding, which he explained.

City Attorney Ben Kirven will review the MOU and advise the city how to proceed.
