The North Main Area Master Plan appeared before the Sheridan City Council last night. The plan is not designed as a regulatory tool but more of a guide for future development on the north end of town. The process to create the plan has taken more than a year, and North Main Neighborhood Association Member Robin DeBolt says it has been worth it:
The plan includes feedback provided by area residents in areas such as land use, street enhancements and view sheds. City Planner Robert Briggs says that the plan one other vital component:
Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says the plan is a wonderful vision statement and he hopes developers will consider the plan before designing future projects now that the City has adopted the plan.
