Officials with WYDOT, the City of Sheridan, and the North Main Neighborhood Association were on hand to officially flip the switch on the new decorative lighting on North Main Street in Sheridan Wednesday.

The switch was flipped on the decorative lighting Wednesday that adorns North Main Street in Sheridan, and that is also part of the North Main reconstruction project. Electrofab was the company with whom the City of Sheridan contracted to install the decorative lighting that will be very reminiscent of the lighting along Main Street in Downtown. Electrofab Supervisor Kevin Wilen gives us some of the details of
the new lighting.

Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says that the decorative lighting is just one small piece to revitalizing North Main.

Kinskey said that trees will start to go in over the next couple of weeks and that next spring they will focus on planters and decorative art that will be a permanent part of the new North Main in Sheridan.
