The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from noon today through 6 a.m. Sunday. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has the story.
Todd Chambers, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Billings, says an Arctic front carrying snow and below freezing winds is on it's way.
The northwest winds combined with the snow will produce windchills that are below freezing throughout the day. Chambers says blowing and drifting snow will impact travel on the Interstate and highways.
Although the cold front will pass, Chambers says northeastern Wyoming will see freezing to below freezing temperatures through next week.
