The No Frills Theatre Company at Sheridan College is gearing up for two productions. The first is their fall production, a children's theatre piece the group is touring to Sheridan County schools this week. Lillian Sager, who along with her husband, Gene, co-direct the program, outlines the tour.

Lillian says the public is invited to one performance of “The Further Adventures of Frog & Toad” that will be performed in W119 of the Whitney Building on Wednesday, December 1st at 4:45 pm. It is free and lasts about 30 minutes.

Then, coming up December 9th and 10th, the Sagers will be holding auditions for their spring 2011 play, A.R. Gurney's “Sylvia.” While no performance dates have been selected yet, Lillian Sager anticipates it will be produced in mid- to late April at the WYO Theatre. She describes the plot.

Sager says interested actors can read a copy of the play on-site at the Fulmer Public Library prior to auditions. The play calls for six actors ranging in age from mid- to late 20's to early-to-mid 60's. Auditions for “Sylvia” will be held in W119 from 4 to 5:30 pm. Sager advises wearing comfortable clothing, as there will be movement involved.
