NEWY to Host Tour of Northeast Wyoming in Early August

The Northeast Wyoming Municipal Leaders Association, or NEWY, will be hosting a tour next month that will give delegates from Washington D.C. the opportunity see firsthand the benefits of coal mining in northeastern Wyoming. Sheridan City Councilwoman Shelleen Smith is a member of NEWY and explains what they hope to accomplish.

Smith says that the 15 to 20 legislative assistants that will be here the first part of August will have a lot to see.

The tour hosted by NEWY will take place August 4th through the 8th.
