The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has announced that Kyle Lash is the new Senior Game Warden for Kaycee. Lash replaces former Kaycee Game Warden Travis Crane, who moved to Cody as the North Cody Senior Game Warden.

Lash was born and raised in Thermopolis, Wyoming. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a degree in wildlife biology and management. He began his career in wildlife with the Department as a habitat biologist aid in Jackson, and later moved to Cody as the wildlife damage technician.

In 2009 Lash was hired as a Game Warden in the Cody Region.   After the academy, Lash transferred to Green River where his main responsibility was boating and fishing enforcement on the Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

During the winter of 2010, Lash transferred to Cheyenne and served nine months in the Department’s headquarters office.
