This past summer the Free Clinic of Sheridan County officially changed their name to the Sheridan Health Center. While a lot has changed in the almost 8 years the health center has been open, the goal of providing health care to those who cannot afford it is still their mission. Executive Director Cathi Kindt tells us about some of the more significant changes that have occurred at the Sheridan Health Center.
That permanent home that Kindt referred to is a move to the Sheridan County Public Health Building. The project consists of renovating 1,000 square feet of the existing Public Health building and the construction of an additional 900 square feet. There will be an upcoming play to benefit the Sheridan Health Center on February 1st, we'll have more on that as the date approaches.
