Immediately following the approval by City Council of Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey's recommendation to appoint Terry Lenhart as Fire Chief, the Mayor swore in Lenhart before a large crowed of firefighters from Sheridan Fire-Rescue. Lenhart on his new role of Fire Chief.
Lenhart has been Interim Chief since February of this year, when then current Chief Patrick Reitz stepped down and the position was consolidated. Lenhart has been a firefighter for over two decades and has been a member of Sheridan Fire-Rescue since 1991.
