Thursday night was the first public meeting of the Sheridan County Fair Association Board of Trustees with the fairground's newly instituted facilities director, Jamie Ringley.
Ringley stressed that his main focus currently and moving forward will be to establish or re-establish connections with the many user groups of the fairgrounds. One way he plans on doing this is by scheduling up a meet and greet with the different users of the facility. Ringley explains.
In addition, Ringley is putting a team together of a few new staff members he said he hopes to hire soon, from adding a maintenance operator to organizing seasonal help.
Ringley said he'll also bring the restrooms and stalls at the fairgrounds up to snuff and will establish weekly inspections of those facilities. During the meeting, he said he plans on holding the meet and greet with community groups sooner rather than later.
