At their meeting Tuesday, the Johnson County Commissioners were introduced to the new Deputy County and Prosecuting Attorney for Johnson County, Ryan Wright.
County Attorney Ken DeCock made the introductions.
According to a media release from DeCock, Wright was raised in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan College. He attended Northern Arizona University where he received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science. After receiving his degree, he returned to Sheridan where he worked for the Northern Wyoming Community College Board before attending Georgetown University Law Center.
During his first year in law school, he worked for the US Senate Health Education Labor Pension Committee under then-chairman Senator Mike Enzi.
After graduating, Wright moved to New York City where he practiced law for four years before deciding to relocate to the area.
Ralph Boynton, according to the release, will continue to assist the County Attorney's Office, volunteering his time and expertise.
