Last week the Sheridan City Council appointed Kristin Kelly to fill the Ward Two seat left vacant by Councilman John Bigelow's resignation at the end of March. Monday night Kelly was officially sworn into her new position. Following being sworn in, Kelly had this to say about being given the opportunity to serve on the Council.
Kelly will not just be filling out the remainder of Bigelow's term, which expires at the end of this year, as she has stated that she will indeed run for the Ward Two seat in this year's upcoming election.
