Yesterday, law enforcement announced 21 people from Sheridan and the surrounding area were arrested on felony drug conspiracy and distribution charges. These arrests stem from a two-year investigation of four methamphetamine distribution rings. Louey Williams is the Team Leader for the Northeast Enforcement Team of the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigations, who spearheaded the majority of these operations.
Williams said this week's seizure of drugs and money was relatively small compared to the cumulative two-year effort.
Williams emphasized the massive sweep of arrests earlier this week is only a small portion of the massive drug fighting efforts his team has exerted over the past two years.
