Murder Suspect Caught In Johnson County

Last Sunday, Johnson County and Natrona County Sheriff's deputies, with the help of the Wyoming Highway Patrol, arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in Campbell County.

Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek said resident Kaycee Deputy Scott Long was contacted by Natrona County saying they had located a homicide suspect driving a vehicle north on Interstate 25 in Natrona County but approaching Johnson County south of Kaycee.

Kozisek tells us what happened next.

Orlando Gonzales, 30, was arrested and taken to the Johnson County Criminal Justice Center where he was held and eventually transferred to Campbell County.

Tabitha Gonzales was taken into custody, questioned by Campbell County authorities and released.

The minor children in the vehicle were not hurt and were placed into protective custody by the Department of Family Services.
